I'm helping someone with a book. DAP. Or Distruted Artbook Publishing, other countries may have different publishers. Self publishing is an option but the quiclest way to publish a book is an ebook. Do an ebook and a paperback, or hardcover. Limited editions sometimes carry more value.
Buy a good book for all of the holidays if you can afford one. They do get expensive, so choose books you will keep for awhile. The big 4 or 5 or 6 etc. Independent publishing is also a thing. I can't except a book today for my old press, but please support other publishers. Write one first, at least the first line. There is usually no money in writing, but sometimes you become a breakout bestseller. You know the ones. A literary agent might know what to do. Mine are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and a few used book stores. Indie bookstores are also great.
Don't eat all of nature though while you are making books, and other things. Be a little unpopular. 7 -the future generations.
The writing life is difficult. Try to write a classic.

Copyright supposedly exists. But sometimes it's best to get support, a grant, etc. Traditional publishing has experience. I have been traditionally, self-published, and indie published. AI written books generally doesn't have copyright. I'm not 100% against it or AI. But in the now and onward there will be interesting collaborations. My books are more human centric. Don't rush the writing, try to make every word and sentence count.
TMI. Some writers are prolific, so write for yourself primarily. I hope you have success with your book whoever reads this.
