The controlled areas are North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. The Mid-East is Biblical and in my opinion too violent.
Africa is epic from what I've heard. I've been to Haiti. Maybe I'll go to Cuba someday if I'm out of cigarettes or need a cure for lung cancer.

Finding a great job/career is difficult but not impossible. Good luck. I'm more of a writer and musician and filmaker, etc.
Do what you need to to support your family.
Be safe and strive for quality work and the best wage possible. Take a rest if you need to. Drink water, lunch, etc.
Beware of storms etc. close doors and windows pertaining to weather conditions.
Tornadoes you usually want to get to a lower level.
Habitat for humanity is one option if you want to start learning trade skills. Dunwoody etc.
Robotics may be in the future and we will all need to learn how to live with them
Union jobs pay well, if you can get one, save and invest as much as you can afford to.
English is the primary language with Spanish a close second.
Housing is always customizable but I would strive for quality.

Blue prints, AutoCAD are what I remember.
Think of health of the community.
Tetanus shot, hard hat, Safety glasses and mask etc.
Design is always important. Imagination and creativity, problem solving, access to tools and equipment.
It's usually a Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degree for architects.
My experience in the past are with finish/indoor carpentry, handyman,, some exterior work,
I don't ever collect rent anymore. I've only done it a few times.
Every house is an artists house. I've found that less indulgent houses stay cleaner.
