If I were going to live somewhere. I would learn maintenance skills. It's difficult to rent sometimes if you can't afford the place and you don't receive enough in $. Other factors you have to consider are where you want to raise a family or just party with your friends all night. We are accustomed, some of us to live in various economies. But if young people aren't adaptable to their circumstances. They may move someplace where they feel more valued. The prices on housing steadily increases, but not always. It's usually college then marriage. But not everyone does. Some people work and work and work and work and stay single. Find a career you find satisfying. It's difficult.
