The Titanic struck another fucking icecube. My press has been taken over and I am currently locked out. I either need to get back in and find another useless password or just let it float in Internet limbo. I was almost out of ISBNs anyway and book publishing is a lot of work for not a lot of money. I don't have the endurance to come up with new book experiences anyway. The government steals shit on occasion. So oh well, they can keep what isn't theirs. Sell it for scrap. All the titles belong to the individual authors anyway under copyright law. I own my books and none of the other authors. My recommendation is to NOT buy anything from Post-Asemic Press until this matter is clarified. PAP never made any money anyway, it was more a labor of love. It's ok art dies and we invent new art.
I'm going to try and keep the Post-Asemic Press Bandcamp site open. Audio books of sound poetry are a lot easier to create and I can sell books and coffee mugs on there if I need to.
So if you were published by PAP pick up your book and feel free to publish it elsewhere. You will need a new ISBN and a new cover art. It's time to move on and transition into my freelance multimedia writing gig. It's easier to do and copy.
Don't work too hard on anything that can be easily colonized and plagiarized. It wasn't a waste of time, I learned a lot about book publishing. An Ai writer's strike might help. 2017-2024 RIP. Buy Nothing.
